The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Sept. 26 and Oct. 8. This log was compiled by Flyer News from actual police reports obtained from the Department of Public Safety.

Criminal Damaging

Dec. 2, 12:57 p.m.

Officer Foreman was dispatched to Lawnview Avenue on a criminal damage complaint. When he arrived, he met with a UD student who stated someone broke the two windows on the north west corner of his residence. It appeared as if someone threw one or multiple rocks through the windows. There was a party at the residence during the evening, and someone attempted to clean up the damage prior to Officer Foreman's arrival.

Dec. 2, 8:06 p.m.

Officer Weber was dispatched to Lawnview Avenue in reference to a damaged vehicle. Upon his arrival he met with a UD student who parked her silver Mazda Prot??g?? in the RP 6 parking lot Dec. 1 at 10 p.m. When she returned Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., she discovered the roof had been pushed in. It is unknown how the damage was done. Insurance will cover the damage. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

Dec. 3, 12:31 p.m.

Officer Durian arrived at the C parking lot regarding damage to a vehicle. He talked with a UD student who said she parked her blue 2000 Ford Taurus SE in the S2 parking lot behind the RecPlex. There was no damage when she parked it, but when she returned the driver's side mirror was missing, with the mirror frame hanging loose and several scratches on the driver's side door. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

Dec. 3, 1:45 p.m.

Officer Durian was dispatched to Irving Avenue in reference to a broken mirror on a vehicle. He met with a UD student who said he parked his vehicle sometime on Nov. 30, and when he returned the driver's side mirror was broken and the rubber insulation on the windshield was peeled out. The student stated there was a piece of paper on the car telling him to call the UD Police Department. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

Criminal Damaging

Dec. 3, 2:26 p.m.

Officer Durian went to an apartment on Irving Avenue to meet with a UD student concerning a criminal damaging complaint. The student stated he left his residence at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 and returned Dec. 3 to find a shattered bedroom window. There was a glass bottle of beer on the floor that had possibly been used to shatter the window. The beer did not belong to the victim and was not in his room when he left. There are no known suspects or witnesses.
