The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Sept. 21 and Sept. 23. This log was compiled by Flyer News from actual police reports obtained from the Department of Public Safety.

Stalking

Sept. 21, 12 p.m.

Officer Arnold was dispatched to Frericks Center concerning harassing telephone calls being made to a UD employee's cell phone. He met with the victim who said beginning Aug. 22 she began to receive calls from an unknown man who claimed he knew her from college. The man stated he was moving to the Dayton area and wants to move in with the victim. The male revealed his name but the victim did not know who he was.

Criminal Trespass

Sept. 21, 12:42 p.m.

Officer Parmenter, Officer Russell and Officer Arnold responded to the UD Bookstore in Marianist Hall on the report of a suspicious male who was suspected of theft over several previous days. The male was not affiliated with UD. The officers found that the suspect had an active warrant through the Montgomery County Courts and an active Criminal Trespassing Warning from UD. He was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Theft

Sept. 22, 2:20 p.m.

Officer Russell came to the College Park Center to take a theft report concerning unknown withdrawals from a debit account. Upon arrival he contacted a UD student who said his father called him Sept. 18 and said the bank had called and reported suspicious charges on the card. Six charges in California and Georgia were made for a total of $923.07. The account was canceled Sept. 20. There are no known suspects at this time.

Criminal Damaging

Sept. 22, 11:41 p.m.

Officer Cloyd was dispatched to Kiefaber Street for a broken window. He met with a UD student who said during the power outage two males entered his home and began turning over the furniture. They were asked to leave, and on their way out one suspect knocked over the trash cans in the alley. The victim then heard glass breaking in the kitchen. The repair costs of the window are unknown at this time, and Residential Properties was notified.

Criminal Damaging

Sept. 23, 1:57 p.m.

Officer Russell was dispatched to the RP17 parking lot behind Stonemill Road regarding damage to a vehicle. Upon arrival he contacted a UD student who said damage was done to the tailgate and passenger side rear view mirror of a black 1999 GMC Sonoma truck. The damage occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 22 and 3 a.m. Sept. 23. Cost to repair the damage is currently unknown. There are no known suspects or witnesses.
