According to a release yesterday from the University of Dayton athletic department, sophomore reserve point guard Stephen Thomas will transfer following the end of the school year.

Thomas played increasing time as the season wore on as junior Rob Lowery was injured Feb. 11 in a victory over Xavier. Lowery is expected to return for next season, leaving less playing time for Thomas.

The Flyers finished the season with a loss to Kansas in the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. The Flyers will return most of the starting lineup despite Thomas' departure, as senior Charles Little will be the only other loss from this season's team.
