Dayton-Xavier, 3:52 first half

Xavier closed the gap on Dayton significantly in the last four minutes of play, the score now 31-27, while UD will have Kurt Huelsman shooting two free throws coming out of the timeout.
Xavier is not going away easily, mostly on the strength of good guard play. Holloway has managed to avoid getting a third foul, and he and Lyons have done well getting to the basket through Dayton's pressure defense.
Turnovers starting to become a problem for UD as well. The Flyers have turned it over six times now, and on four straight possessions.
Free throws are a factor now. Chris Wright has missed four straight attempts from the line and is 3-7 on the game. Jason Love, on the other hand, is 4-4 from the stripe.
Holloway continued to penetrate to the basket easily and completed a three point play to make it a four point game.
