Dayton is now out to its largest lead of the game at 14 points, 56-42 with under 13 minutes remaining.
Dayton has been beating Xavier to all the loose balls this half, rebounding better (6-2 rebounding in their favor this half), and continued to shoot well. After a three by Paul Williams and a driving layup by Chris Wright, Xavier coach Chris Mack was forced to take a timeout.
Wright now with 13 points in the game, tied with Love to lead all scorers.
