Dayton-Xavier, 7:44 second half

Xavier cut Dayton's lead in half in the last five minutes, making it quite a game all of a sudden. The Flyers came unglued a bit during that rotation, and it started with fouls.
Mickey Perry fouled Jordan Crawford with 9:36 to play, UD's seventh foul, putting Xavier into the bonus. Crawford missed the front end of the one and one, but was then able to draw Chris Johnson's fourth foul on the next possession and convert a three-point play to pull Xavier within nine.
Dayton then picked up two more fouls, both committed on Terrell Holloway, who will go to the line with a chance to bring Xavier within five when play resumes.
