MINNEAPOLIS- With 7:38 to go in the first half, the Dayton Flyers are showing the nation that they belong with the "big boys." After much disrespect from the media the past week, the Flyers are showing their response on the court in the Metrodome, taking an early 21-15 lead over West Virginia.

Paul Williams answered a West Virginia lead from the corner and the Flyers will have a chance to open up a three-possession lead on the Mountaineers when the game resumes. Marcus Johnson leads Dayton with eight points, while Charles Little has six.
