MINNEAPOLIS- An unusual dead ball just took place. West Virginia's Alex Ruff just tried a 3-pointer and the ball got stuck between the backboard and the rim. The Mountaineers got the ball back on the jump ball as a result.
Dayton's lead is 28-22 following a Chris Wright dunk with 4:24 to go in the first frame.
