MINNEAPOLIS- After a Chris Wright driving layup and 3-pointer, the Flyers took a 33-24 nine-point lead, their largest lead of the game.

Dayton looks energized, and you have to wonder how much West Virginia's arrival to Minneapolis at 4 a.m. two nights ago affected their schedule of rest.

However, West Virginia has scraped back into the game with two straight follows on the offensive second opportunities. Dayton currently holds a 33-28 lead with 1:05 to go in the first half.

Hopefully the Flyers' play keeps up, but with just over a minute to go until the break, it's always evident that a Bob Huggins coached team will come out with its best in the second half.
