MINNEAPOLIS- With just 3:49 left in his Dayton career, Charles Little is eight points shy of 1,000 for his career. The big bruiser will probably not get to the milestone at this point unless the team completely changes gears in the final minutes.

At this point, the Flyers are out of reach, down 19 with only a few minutes left, and scoring 20 more points would be substantial considering the trouble the Flyers have had just scoring today.

In the last several minutes, the game has become lopsided, and KU fans have started celebrating in the stands realizing they will be making the trip to Indianapolis for the Sweet 16 tomorrow.

Although Little will not likely reach 1,000 points for his career, he's going to be remembered as someone that bleeds red and blue. At Senior Night a few weeks ago, Little's emotions showed in his last game at UD Arena as tears filled his eyes following his presentation.

Little just now scored his second bucket of the afternoon to give him four points and moves him six points away, but he will still likely fall short.

Kansas 57, Dayton 38 with 2:22 to go.
