Crime Log - November 06, 2007
The following incidents were reported to the Department of Public Safety in 1997, 10 years ago to this week. Public Safety did not provide Flyer News with any reports this week, and the crime log will return next issue.
Criminal Damaging
Oct. 31, 10:48 a.m.
A man reported damage done to his 1998 Chevrolet Corsica. The vehicle's front right tire was flat and the windshield as well as left and right windows were broken out. No estimates of the damage were given.
Assault
Nov. 2, 2:08 a.m.
A woman was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend in front of Virginia W. Kettering Residence Hall. She was treated for minor injuries. The woman did not want to press criminal charges on her assailant. The man was cited for physical abuse.
Theft
Nov. 3, 11:49 a.m.
A reported theft of four computers in Anderson Center valued at $1,800 each and two boxes of software valued at $600 each. There were no signs of forced entry. Total losses were estimated at $8,400.

Nov. 3, 2:21 p.m.
A man reported a personal computer was stolen from his office in Joseph E. Keller Hall. There were no signs of forced entry. Losses were valued at $1,816.
Theft
Nov. 11, 2:21 p.m.
A man reported his mountain bike was stolen from the Stuart Complex bike rack. The bike was secured with a chain lock when the man last saw the bike. No evidence was left at the scene of the crime. The losses were estimated at $150.
