CORRECTIONS

Flyer News committed several omissions and errors in the Jan. 27 article 'Workshop draws writers from around globe to UD' (vol. 53, issue 25) about the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop.

First, attendees will be coming from dozens of states, not dozens of countries.

Also, Brendan Bergen is not the winner of this year's writing competition. He was one of 21 winners of student scholarships given by workshop organizers to UD students allowing them free access to the workshop. The essay contest for this year is still being judged.

Finally, though she wrote 12 books in her lifetime, Erma Bombeck never wrote a novel, her books were all non-fiction.

Flyer News regrets the errors.
